How to get there (this information is valid for October 2019, changes might occur)

Going from airport you take local train (Vy) or airport train (Flytoget) to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) or Nationaltheatret station, both stations valid for both trains. Vy; national trains – every 30 mins – 101 NOK – 25 minutes. Flytoget; express trains – every 10 mins – 190 NOK – 19 min travel time to Oslo S. You buy tickets in automats before entering the train. Vy ticket cannot be used on Flytoget and vice versa, hence separate automats. It is also possible to go to and from the airport by bus. Same price as airport train, but it takes longer time. Tickets for bus you buy from the driver. The bus has the final stop outside Radisson Blue Scandinavia. For transportation within the city you walk, use tunnel tube, bus or tram. Here is information about tickets, which you buy before entering the transport medium Stations for tunnel tubes are under the same roofs as the train stations, named respectively Jernbanetorget and Nationaltheatret. The building Pilestredet 46 is at the main campus of OsloMet and it is within 10 minutes walking distance from Nationaltheatret station. There is no other transportation means for this leg. Alternatively, you can take tram 11, 17 og 18 from Oslo Central Station/Jernbanetorget to stop Frydenlund which is just outside the building Pilestredet 46. You buy tickets in automats at the indoor stations, or you buy them in the kiosk named 7-11 or Narvesen. Eventually you can install the app RuterBillett for purchasing ticket. The app is connected to you visa card. Local tickets are valid for one hour and can be used for various local transportation within time of validity.
